As an interior designer and Realtor®, I love homes of all kinds. Whether they are stunningly beautiful or rough around the edges, I find something special in each one because I believe at the heart of every home are people.

As the principal designer and owner, I bring a wealth of experience to the table. Before starting Evoque Home, I successfully launched and ran a boutique design company, catering specifically to real estate clients. With my extensive background in the industry, including over 150 home renovations and makeovers, I founded Evoque Home Studio in 2023 to expand beyond real estate clients to provide personalized, one-on-one service delivering an unparalleled experience for every client, every time.

My approach to interior design is a harmonious blend of diverse influences, drawing inspiration from each client's unique story. With a skillful fusion of mid-century modern, boho, global, and "man-glam" elements, my designs result in one-of-a-kind spaces that reflect individual personalities and tastes. From mid-century modern furnishings to bohemian textiles, global artifacts, and touches of "man-glam" sophistication, my interiors evoke a balanced blend of style and comfort. An eye for quality shines through in my selection of high-end focal pieces, which seamlessly combine with affordable, off-the-shelf finds, creating an ambiance that is both stylish and inviting.

My design journey is enriched by my family's deep roots in the industry, drawing upon the collective knowledge of designers, architects, landscapers, and contractors. This collaborative environment fosters a constant flow of inspiration, allowing me to stay at the forefront of design trends. Embracing this familial support, I blend tradition and innovation in each project, showcasing a personal flair and the legacy of creativity that runs through my family.

The name Evoque holds a profound significance, stemming from my transformative experiences as an expat in Panama. Derived from the Spanish "evocar," meaning "to evoke," the name embodies my design philosophy. I believe in creating spaces that evoke the essence of home, regardless of location. Whether it's a tropical paradise, a bustling cityscape, or a serene countryside, my vision is to craft interiors that resonate with comfort, belonging, and familiarity. Evoque Home serves as a constant reminder of this guiding principle, as I aspire to evoke feelings of joy, peace, and contentment within the spaces I design, leaving a lasting impact on my clients' lives.

I am a Bay Area native who first moved to the Crocker Highlands neighborhood in Oakland from the Silicon Valley in 2000 when I fell in love with the area, and returned 10 years later to buy my first home. Outside of work, I enjoy salsa dancing, skiing, wake-surfing, and travel.  Over the years I've lived abroad in Spain, Costa Rica and Panama, and my design style draws inspiration from those experiences.

What's my favorite activity here in Oakland? Culinary walking tours with my 3 hungry boys…where else can you enjoy banh mi, tacos, and sushi all in one block!?

I earned a bachelor's degree in Public Policy from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. After a successful career in Public Affairs for national non-profits, I finally gave into my love of home design and open houses and have never looked back! I am fluent in Spanish and currently reside in Piedmont, CA with my husband and 3 teenage sons.
